5 Things To Be Grateful For As a Swinger

The Deep Connection With My Partner

It's no secret that many couples have said swinging and non monogamy has brought them closer and created a more fulfilling, intimate relationship. Swinging really forces you and your partner check in with each other as much as possible. We are constantly communicating our feelings, wants, desires, fantasies which in return helps us build intimacy. Having a good line of communication open will help to eliminate any feelings of jealousy, anger, or miscommunication. Many swinging couples tend to have a higher than average ability to express themselves with their partner and have more emotional intelligence. This create deeper connections and thus brings

swinger couples.

Deeper friendship connections

I have some of the greatest lifelong friends that I've met while swinging. We are always there for each other through the difficult times. Sometimes we have to take breaks from parties and focus our energies inward. Yet, we remain in each other’s lives with whatever our friends needs whether it's support, someone to talk to or just a friend to chat with and make jokes with. Even if it is just the occasional electronic connection with the text message that we are thinking about them. Our friendships mean the world to us and enrich us in so many ways. With these friendships it feels like a non-judgmental and accepting environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. We seem to have a deeper connection and understanding among swinger couples.

Building Confidence

Swinging often involves open communication, exploration of desires, and understanding personal boundaries. By actively participating in these experiences, we can gain a deeper understanding of our own desires and preferences, leading to greater self-awareness and self-acceptance, which can, in turn, boost our confidence. Many Swinging communities we've participated in emphasize body positivity and acceptance. Engaging in these communities can provide us with a supportive environment where diverse body types and appearances are embraced. Feeling accepted and valued in such spaces can have a positive impact on our self-esteem and body confidence.

My Stress/Anxiety is reduced

Swinging communities often provide a sense of camaraderie and support for us within the lifestyle. Feeling connected to a like-minded community can reduce feelings of isolation and provide a support system, which can positively impact our mental well-being. Engaging in swinging may allow us to explore and understand our desires and boundaries more deeply. This self-awareness can lead to a greater sense of empowerment and personal validation, potentially reducing stress and anxiety related to uncertainty or unmet needs. Swinging creates a healthy outlet for you to explore & enjoy yourself.  Having an outlet reduces your stress level, making it easier to deal with the frustrations that might pop up in your daily life

Swinging has helped with self awareness and self growth

As you explore Swinging, you uncover many new concepts, situations, and feelings.  There is so much reflecting that goes on as we try to process all the emotions we deal with during the early swinging process. Engaging in swinging can provide opportunities for us to explore our desires, boundaries, and preferences in a safe and consensual environment. This exploration can contribute to a deeper understanding of ourselves , leading to personal growth and a more authentic sense of identity. Navigating the dynamics of non-monogamous relationships, including managing jealousy and insecurity, can cultivate emotional resilience. We may even develop coping strategies, self-awareness, and an enhanced capacity for managing complex emotions, contributing to personal growth and self-mastery.
